The Chaska herald artlicle today showcases a listing i put on the market last Sunday. The home is located in the Traditions of Clover Ridge development and is an absolutley fantastic home.
Like the article says we are employing the use of technology to help get the word out to buyers on a variety of the new communication channels – Facebook, twitter and a host of non-mls sites that syndicate MLS listings.
My marketing plan focuses on getting the home ready to showcase to buyers that are looking online (which by the way is where 90+% of serious buyers are finding homes) . The first step for my clients is a consultation with a professional stager. The stager will come in and provide 2 hours of hands on service paid for by me. I’ve been using professional staging for the past 4 years and believe it has been a big contributor to the sale of the home. After the home has implemented the stagers advice on furniture arrangement, decluttering and accessories we bring in a professional photographer. Wide angle photography when shot by a pro makes a huge difference from a standard digital camera (which in a recent sampling I found 60% of agents are still using a regular digital camera to shoot their listings). I keep up with the latest advances in technology and am always up to date with the trends in the market itself.
